Time, and the River (2004) 74 min

Digital video

In 1993 a friend and I canoed the length of the Mississippi River (paddling over 6 weeks and traveling 2400 miles) from its source at Lake Itasca, Minnesota to New Orleans, Louisiana. Along the way we stopped in Winona, Minnesota and met people living in boathouses in the river community of Latsch Island. Ten years later I returned to Winona to make this film about life on the river.
